When referring to the compilation of Henry's Law Constants, please cite this publication:

R. Sander: Compilation of Henry's law constants (version 5.0.0) for water as solvent, Atmos. Chem. Phys., 23, 10901-12440 (2023), doi:10.5194/acp-23-10901-2023

The publication from 2023 replaces that from 2015, which is now obsolete. Please do not cite the old paper anymore.

Download

In addition to searching and browsing online, there are two options to download all Henry's law constants in machine-readable format:

PostgreSQL

The zip archive henry_5.0.0_sql.zip contains the whole database in PostgreSQL syntax.

Fortran90

The zip archive henry_5.0.0_f90.zip contains Fortran90 files defining several variants of the Henry's law constants. Code snippets from these files can be used via 'copy and paste'. For example, oxygen values are represented in HscpSI.f90 as:
! species: oxygen
! formula: O_2
! trivial:
! casrn:   7782-44-7
! inchikey: MYMOFIZGZYHOMD-UHFFFAOYSA-N
HscpSI____7782_44_7 = 1.3E-05 * EXP(1500.*(1./T-1./298.15)) ! [mol\,m^{-3}\,Pa^{-1}] type: L, ref: 3500
HscpSI____7782_44_7 = 1.2E-05 * EXP(1700.*(1./T-1./298.15)) ! [mol\,m^{-3}\,Pa^{-1}] type: L, ref: 2828
...
For each value, a reference number is added as a comment. The full references can be found in the BibTeX file henry.bib, which is also included in the zip archive.
